Government spending specifically focused on direct job creation. That was how the Great Depression was resolved. That was how President Obama stopped the economic freefall he inherited…Republicans want to blame President Obama for high unemployment, but their solution clearly doesn’t work. And they do know that it doesn’t work. Because they don’t really care whether or not it works. Republicans don’t care about creating jobs, they only care about allowing fewer and fewer people to accumulate more and more wealth and power.
